If I claim my 18 year old daughter with special needs on my 2017 taxes will it affect her ability to get Medicaid when she turns 19 ?
She turns 19 on May st
You would have to contact your state Medicaid office to see if your support would disqualify her. In general though, with special needs she should be able to qualify unless she has her own employment income.
