Hello When I log in, I only have the option of starting a 2024 return. Where do I go to modify a 2023 return? Thank you

If you need to change information on the 2023 tax return that you filed then you will have to amend the 2023 tax return.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a prior year tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-change-correct-return-already-filed/L4VjJ9BA2_US_en_US?uid=ld1n99kr

Amending the 2023 tax return does not prevent you from starting, completing and filing a 2024 tax return.

    Hello

i will rephrase my question. Where can I access my 2023 return to modify it? When I log in, I only have the option to start a 2024 return.

If you filed the 2023 tax return and it was accepted by the IRS, then you do NOT modify the tax return that was filed.  You have to amend the 2023 tax return to make changes to the 2023 return that was filed.  Then you have to print, sign, date and mail the federal amended tax return, Form 1040-X, to the IRS.

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Start the 2024 online tax return by entering some personal information then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.

On the Tax Home webpage -

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents.  Click on the Yea 2023r and Click on Download/print return (PDF) or Amend (change) return
