I would like to complete a rejected refund by just putting in my pin number, how do i do so from 2016?

You cannot e-file a 2016 return, so putting in an AGI will not enable you to e-file it. E-filing is permanently closed for 2016 returns. You need to print, sign and mail your 2016 return in order to file it now.
