I purchased TY 2023 TurboTax Online Premium in 2024. I need to start a 2023 return, the site keeps switching to 2025. How do I use the 2023 program that I purchased?

Online is only good for the current year. How did you purchase Online Premium? You didn't need to pay until you are ready to file. You will need to call support and see if they can give you the Desktop program.

To do a prior year return you have to buy the Desktop program here,

You will need Windows 10 or Mac Monterey 12 to install it on.

You have to print and mail prior year returns. When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return. Don’t forget state.
