Question

I purchased the TurboTax Business Software and downloaded it to my Windows computer. How do I create the K1 using this software?

The software asks me to enter the information from my K1. I don't have a K1. I thought this software would help me create an K1. Can anyone give me insight for this?

Did you buy the BUSINESS program or the Home&Business program? Did you get it installed and activated with the License Code? Do you also have a personal version installed? Maybe you are opening the wrong program?

You need to buy Turbo Tax Business, not to be confused with the personal Home & Business version. TT Business is not available to do online or on a Mac. You can buy the Windows Desktop program here,

Once you complete the business return and you have entered in the partners/owners then the K-1 form is populated automatically.
