I never paid the $1,500. in NJ estimated taxes for 2020. why are you giving me credit for that on my state return? Your on-line software asked if I paid State estimated 2020 taxes. I answered NO.

Did you have a 1500 state refund for 2019? When you entered a 1099G it might have asked if you applied it to 2020.

No I didn’t have a credit forward for any refund for 2019.
