I mailed my return about 6 weeks ago. I still can’t see any update, whether it’s been reviewed, approved, rejected, etc.. when should I see an update?

A mailed tax return will take 4 weeks or longer before an IRS agent opens the envelope and starts the return processing.

If your return has a tax refund go to this IRS website for the status of the refund - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.

Where are you looking for an update? TurboTax does not get any information from the IRS about a mailed tax return. You will not see any updates in TurboTax. If you are getting a refund use the IRS link that DoninGA gave you to check the status. If you are not getting a refund, the IRS does not provide any updates.
