While in your Mary Kay Business. Enter Add Expenses for this work.

Click on Inventory under Expenses.

On the first page of Inventory, answer Yes, I have Inventory to report.

The next page discusses your method of accounting.

The following page wants your beginning and ending inventory for 2017.

The next page will have a box to enter inventory used for personal use. As well on this page is a box titled Other costs to prepare for Sales where you could enter cost of products used for demonstrations.

The unrecovered sales tax can be entered by adding this under Less Common or Miscellaneous Expenses.
