Question

I live in the state of NY, My son is only 14 and worked last year. Do we have to include his income in our taxes, or no because He is only 14 and still a dependent?

No. His income is reported on his return if he has a filing requirement.  If he files be sure that he checks the box saying that someone else can claim him.

Sorry, I should have asked, Since He is only 14, does He have to file his own taxes or do we put him in with ours as another income in the household?

See my answer. He files his own return.

No. As Tax Champ @Bsch4477 says, your son cannot include a dependent’s wage income on your income taxes.

You may have to file an income tax return for your son, if he made enough to file — or if tax was withheld and you are filing just to get a refund.

The filing threshold for 1099 income and New York is lower than for federal W-2 income, so your son may have to file a return if he made $400 (after expenses) as a self-employed person. He would owe no income tax but would owe self-employment tax.

The standard deduction for a single filer in New York is $3,100 so your son may have to file a NY return if he made more than that.
