Question

I keep receiving emails that I have to input my 2018 tax records, yet when I login to turbo tax it says my 2019 taxes have been filed.

People who have created more than one TurboTax account, but don't realize it, will receive a message to confirm state and local taxes from previous years tax return. You will need to sign in to the account you created for the current year's tax return.

Please click this TurboTax Help link to learn if you have more than one TurboTax account.

I do not have more than one account. This is my first year using turbo tax. It wanted me to insert tax info from 2018 and then the uploading area went away. I do not know what to do.

You said you already filed?  Was it Accepted?

Did you go all the way through the File tab, through the 3 steps and hit the big orange Transmit Returns Now button?

You can check your efile status here

https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

When you efile you get back 2 emails.  The first email only confirms the transmission.  The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.

When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc.  What does it say?

You need to enter your 2018 AGI to efile 2019.  Did you do that?
