I imported my 2023 tax return, it immediately showed a tax due. I ran the import a second time on a new return. The same thing happened. I cannot open any tax forms.

No income has been entered and I did receive a refund last year. Thoughts?

I know there are a couple things. One I can think of is if you owe for the First Time Homebuyer Credit. I think this is the last year to pay it back.

Thanks for the feedback. That wasn't it. I wasn't eligible for that. It turned out it had to do with the standard deduction calculation and some carry overs. It still doesn't make sense however the numbers tie.
