Question

I haven't filed my taxes for several years now. I have worked for various jobs in different states but I have no W-2s. What should I do to get back on track?

Go to the IRS "get transcript" page and sign up. You can request a "wage and income" transcript for each year that you have not filed. This will list the W-2s and 1099s reported for the year.

You can then take that information and prepare your tax returns. You can file with TurboTax back through 2015 using the download product. You will have to pay for each individual year.

If you did not file for 2015 and think you might be due a refund, you should file ASAP. The ability to claim a refund on that return expires 4/15.
