If your daycare provider does not have an Employer Identification Number EIN you will use the daycare provider's Social Security Number.  The SSN is accepted by the IRS when there is no EIN.

Are you saying to type the SSN within the EIN block in TurboTax and the IRS will know its an SSN?

Yes, enter the SSN.  The IRS will know it is an SSN and will accept it in place of an EIN.
