I have a 1099 Misc from the Department of Human Services that only has an amount in Box 7. I don't have a clue what I should do. We did adopt 2 kids last year.

Box 7 on a 1099-MISC only has a check box.

Please clarify the Form number, Box number, and amount reported in that box.

It is a 2020 Form 1099 - Misc.

Box 7 says "Nonemployment Compensation"

This is from the State of Oklahoma.

Not sure what to do with it.
