No, you don't use the 1099-R interview.  Each specific version of a 1099 - 1099-B, 1099-DIV, 1099-INT, etc. - MUST BE entered using the interview specific to that version.

You need to use the "Income from Form 1099-MISC" interview which I assume is available to you using the online product.  However if the dollars on this 1099-MISC are reported to you in Box 7 - which appears to be the case here - then you will need to upgrade to TurboTax Self-Employed if you want to continue using "online" TurboTax.  Only TurboTax Self-Employed supports Schedule C, which is where this income will go.

It might be cheaper to pick up a "desktop" version of TurboTax Deluxe - which does support Schedule C - and installing that on your own computer.

The desktop version of 2020 TurboTax Deluxe doesn't allow entry into box 7.  Do I need to upgrade to Home Business version for $40 more?

Box 7 on  1099Misc?  For 2020 there is a new 1099NEC form to replace the 1099Misc non employee comp.

But it doesn't matter.  You don't have to enter each 1099Misc or 1099NEC.  You can enter the total income as Cash or General.  Only the total goes to schedule C line 1.

And you don't have to upgrade.  All the Desktop programs have the same forms. You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions.

I don't think the 1099Misc or 1099NEC section is ready yet.  The 1099NEC is a new form this year.
