Question

I have a 1099-G for tax year 2025. Turbotax says to enter a year before 2024 and gives me an error. Is this a software glitch? Is there a way to manually enter 2025?

It is a 1099-G from New York State because of their inflation reduction checks.

The New York state Inflation Reduction income you received is not taxable or entered on a federal tax return.  Nor is it taxable or entered on a New York state tax return.
