I have a 1099 for one of my jobs as an online teacher at a medical trade school. I would like to deduct the dues paid for professional organization memberships.
Where do I add this deduction in the turbotax system?
After you enter you income in the Business section, you will also see other options as shown below in the screen shot. When you enter the expense portion, dues do not have their own category so you can put it under the miscellanous or other section and identify them as professional dues.
