I gor my w 2 form from irs and it only shows my last four numbers for my employee id number and i do not know hat to do

I think you meant the Employer EIN ... contact the employer for the full number. If you cannot get it then enter a fake number in the program and you will need to mail in the return and attach a copy of the IRS transcript.

Also note that the IRS transcript doesn't have any state information on it ... so if you need to do a state return getting the form from the employer or getting it from the SS administration is a must.

If you can't e-File, you don't need any transcript.

you need to include the copy for Federal of W_2 your employer supplied you.

If you don't have the actual W-2 form then attaching the transcript to a mailed in return IS a valid substitute... I have mailed in many of them for clients who could not get the W-2 especially when the employer is no longer in business.
