I get "hmm, looks like we hit a slight snag in this section" when I manually select "Other" investment type (1099-S). Tried multiple browsers & PCs

Only 1099-INT and 1099-DIV work for investment type, the other three investment options give the same error. Using Deluxe.

Try closing TurboTax, clearing your cache and deleting your cookies. Review the TurboTax Help article How to clear your cache and How do I delete cookies? for specific instructions for your browser. Also, reboot your computer.

I tried all those things with a live agent remoted in, but they didn't work for me.  There must have been a glitch in my work because I tried starting another return on the same computer and things worked properly with it.  I ended up deleting my return for this year and starting over on the original account, and it then worked for me.

I don't understand how my online account could have a bug, but it did.  I tried on three different computers and multiple browsers, and had the same result every time, so it was not a cookie or cache problem but something in the return itself.  Anyway, the problem is solved now.  Thanks for your suggestions.
