I filed last year but it says I didn't and will not let me continue, what should I do

I'm 18 and make nothing so I am filing for free but it will not let me get past this stage. It wants me to say how I filed. I filed on TurboTAx and my account shows I filed but it wont let me continue unless I pay.

If you have no income, you do not need to file a return. If you are filing for free is it asking you to pay or to register? Even if you are using the free file, you still have to do the check out thing, but you would not pay anything. Or did you somehow upgrade during the process? If you did, then you can downgrade your product back to free if you qualify.

@abbeymackin If you "make nothing" why are you trying to file an income tax return? What are you trying to do?
