Where do you see unemployment income exclusion? Are you using a 2020 desktop version of TurboTax or are you filing your 2021 return?

The Unemployment Income Exclusion was a tax break for 2020 that has not been extended to 2021. It would not be double counting benefits, it was removing it from your taxable income.

It was located in the app and computer online filing for 2021, not a desktop version.

Unemployment and Family Leave paid through the state are entered in the same spot in TurboTax.

The amount should not double.
