Question

I dont think i've filed my 2021 taxes because it says its ready to mail. I don't want to mail as is, I want to redo them? where do i go in turbo tax to redo my taxes?

Log in ... scroll down and click on ADD A STATE to open the return then make any changes you need to do.

And then.....make sure you go ALL THE WAY through the FILE section in order to e-file your tax return.  You have to click a big orange button that says "Transmit my returns now" in order to e-file.

 

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

To continue working on a return TurboTax thinks is finished,

use the bizarre command trick "Add a State"
