Question

I dont have the tax tools bar on the left side of screen. how can i delete a form.

Use the Chrome browser and clear browsing data first.  Tax Tools does not show in the app,

Please see the screenshot below for further guidance on where the Tax Tools option is on the left side of the screen. 

 

 

To delete a form, please follow these steps:

  1. Open your tax return.
  2. Click on Tax Tools.
  3. Click on Tools.
  4. Click on Delete a Form. 
  5. Scroll down to the form you need to remove and click Delete.

Assuming you have not actually filed yet:     Tax Tools only shows up when you are actually inside your Tax file somewhere.

 

i.e.  when you first log into your tax account, it doesn't show up.....you have to "continue" working on your tax file in the right-side of the screen first...then once you get into the tax file, the Tax Tools selection will show on the left-side.
