I'm not sure what you mean by "without the program". If you have the CD version, then unfortunately no, you can't switch out, you'd need to either buy the right one or do your taxes on TurboTax online or mobile device.
However, if you're already using the online or mobile version, there at the beginning of the return it asks you a bunch of questions and shows you some basic pictures.  One of the options was about self-employees, and it was both a question and a picture presented to you. To get rid of it, you need to go all the way back to the beginning of your return -- even though this is a hassle, it is by far easier and faster than going line by line.
In order to start over, you need to click on My Account and then Clear and Start Over.  Now, when you go to put in the initial information, make sure you do NOT click the self-employed picture, or answer a yes to any business-related questions. Now you can start again. Also, make sure to choose between federal free file or deluxe filing, if you are planning on completing this online. Note that there is also an option her to choose self-employed.
