I do not want to file until 4/10/2018. How to I see and hold return?

Yes, you can save your return now and complete it at a later date. TurboTax Online automatically saves your return as you continue through the Interview questions and when you sign out. However, in the event of a computer shut down, you could also save your return by completing the following steps below:

  • Sign in to TurboTax (if you're not already signed in)
  • Click on the Take me to my return button
  • Scroll down and click on the Tax Tools button (left panel)
  • Click on the Print Center (lower left panel).
  • Click on Print, Save or Preview this year's return. 

When you return, you can continue where you left off, by completing the steps below:

  • Sign in to TurboTax (if you're not already signed in)
  • Click on the Take me to my return button 
  • Click on "Pick up where I left off" (See images below).
