I bought 2022 TurboTax Deluxe CD with Federal Returns and One State Tax Return by download. Download is not working. Is anyone else having this problem?

Did you already install it from the CD? Or what happens when you try to download it? Are you using this? It shows how to download it. How to install with a License Code.....

I installed TurboTax from the CD I purchased - just as I have done for the past 15 years or more. This is not my mistake. It is an error in the software put out by TurboTax. I called Customer Support on 12/21/2022 and discussed the issue with Sheryl/Cheryl. She tried to download and send to me the State of Iowa return. She was unable to do so. She tried another state to see if it was specific to Iowa but apparently not, because she also could not download the state of Arizona. Sheryl/Cheryl created a trouble ticket and sent to IT. Later that same day, I got an email saying TurboTax Case [phone number removed] is Closed. But there was no explanation or message to me and the problem persists.

I installed the CD to load the 2022 TurboTax on my computer and have entered data into the Federal Returnand entered the License data as required. When it comes to the State Return, the screen shows near the top left "TurboTax State Download" When I click on that, I get a message at the bottom of the screen "For just $40, we can finish your Iowa taxes in minutes."

The Options are "No Thanks" and "Finish My State Taxes with TurboTax". I do not wish to pay an additional $40 to have TurboTax do my State Taxes. I want to Download State of Iowa and complete it myself. I have paid for the software. In past years, the download starts when I choose the download option. I believe there is a software error in TurboTax that needs to be corrected.

@cdmetz01 - check the box the CD came in...... the CDs get marketing with and without the state included.

How much did you pay for the CD? for example, Bestbuy lists Basic (No state) for $40 and Deluxe (with state) for $55.

does the box state that 'state' is uncluded?

Yes the package says Deluxe Federal Returns + Federal E-File and State Returns.

Yes, this is the very first time I have ever had any problems with downloading TurboTax.

I downloaded the 2022 CD, it uploaded well but when trying to open it up, it goes into activating continually, I left it doing so All night, and thought it would be ready to use this morning but no, it was still activating.... What is going on with this CD...?

Is there a fix for this download problem. I keep getting in a loop that downloads it then updates it and nothing but around the loop again. I paid for this software twice through staples online and in the store but the problem remains the same.
