Question

I am unable to file due to not having an IP PIN. I never received one. I can't get ahold of anyone and I've filed a paper return now. I don't know what to do at this point. Anyone have this issue befo

If you do not have the 6-digit IP PIN and you are being required to enter it in order to e-file, then the bottom line is you flat out can not e-file. Period. You have no choice but to print, sign and mail your return to the IRS. There are no other options.

I'm having the same issue here. I have called the IRS both locally and the main number selected on their website. However, if you need an IP Pin, you are able to create an account with IRS and retrieve it with a few options.  Unfortunately, for me I could not meet these requirements.  I need to know what my best option is: wether I need to file for an extension or not. I paid for the Deluxe version and I would like someone to help me.
