I am unable to complete filing and it says my federal information is incomplete. Everything I've tried keep sending me in circles. What do I do?

I had a similar problem and finally resolved it by starting a new return and carefully answering each question carefully with the knowledge I gained from my previous attempt. The return not only completed successfully on the second attempt, my refund was larger.
