Question

I am attempting to import data from Fidelity and Vanguard. Neither import works even though the browser windows claims it was successful.

The browser windows says to return to TurboTax. In TurboTax, there is no indication that the import was successful - only 'Back', 'Continue', and 'Skip Import'. Selecting Continue causes the program to attempt another import. Selecting Back leaves a blank unknown 1099-R that wants further editing.

Exactly the same issue here. Any response ?

Seems to be related to pop-up blocker.  Based on a response to another thread here I switched to Firefox and this time a pop-up came up to text me a code.  That did not happen with either Edge or Chrome.

Worked fine after that.

This happens if you’ve previously blocked Local Network Access on your browser. In order to successfully import your data you must allow access.

To allow Local Network Access in Chrome:

Click the View Site Information icon (to the left of the address bar) and then turn on Local Network Access.

To allow Local Network Access in Edge:

Follow these instructions.
