I am a full time W-2 employee but have a part time job with a 1099-Misc. Turbox tax keeps making me use the "self employed" but I want to use the delux. What do I do?

Although it may be news to you that you “have a business” (and most of the other people who get their first 1099-MISC); The IRS considers anything in box 7 of 1099-MISC to be self employment income.
You can only use Deluxe, if you do not intend to claim any expenses associated with this self employment income.
