I accidentally upgraded to deluxe when prompted, but I meant to decline. How do I downgrade to the free version?

As long as you have not already submitted a payment or deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund, you can use the clear and start over feature to downgrade to the TurboTax Free Edition. Please see below for more information.

This dont fix the issue. I am still on the deluxe version even after clearing and starting over.

If you have already attempted to downgrade and were unsuccessful, this may be due to you having already submitted payment, deducting the TurboTax fee from your refund, or registering your account.
