how to uncheck trump account for dependant

The information for this form isn't entered until you are at the final step of tax filing. You will be asked about this after you have entered your direct deposit information. This is because it isn't‌ part of your tax return. 

The Trump account program doesn't officially begin until July 2026.  You can find more information about the Trump account here

This seems to be a common issue with Turbotax. I do not remember checking yes to elect. I had to delete my dependent and re-enter their SSN/bday etc manually. Once i did that and confirmed. I went to review and the prompt did not return

Man, TurboTax can be so frustrating trying to correct something you entered wrong. I spent 45 minutes just now trying to change a Trump account election. In TurboTax online, you have to go to the "File" section and revisit the "Your refund info" section. I tried deleting the form and all that nonsense it didn't work. The search/Help doesn't help, and it says to go to the "File" section without telling you you need to click on the refund info section. I know it's late in the tax year but I hope this helps someone else.

You have to REVISIT the "Your refund/payment info" go through entering your bank/credit card information, and then at the end it asks if you want to sign up for a Trump account. I clicked no, and the prompt went away.
