How do I install previous versions of Trubotax without the original cd? I don't keep the cd's year over year and I just bought I new PC and need to transfer everything

you should be able to download s/w from your Intuit account under Products and Billing

but since Intuit introduced a license activation server in 2019 they do not support activation of s/w older than 4 years (current tax year + 3 prior years) so you'll probably have issues installing 2019-2021 at this point. Try it though, others have had an inconsistent experience. You may encounter a case where Fed will install but you won't be able get the state program and can't open old .tax files without that.

make sure you have the PDF with all forms and worksheets saved as your official record from the old PC and don't rely on being able to run old versions of the s/w and .tax files.
