2019 extensions had to be filed before July 15, 2020. All extensions expired on Oct 15. If you are late, then just file ASAP. There is no late penalty if you are due a refund.

Sorry you are too late to start or finish online. Online has closed for 2019. 2019 is now the prior year. You have to switch to the Desktop program. You need a full Windows or Mac computer to install the program on.

Did you already pay for the Online version ? Ask support to give you the Download Desktop program.

You will have to print and mail 2019 and earlier now. When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return. Don’t forget state.
Important! Mail Federal and State in separate envelopes and mail each year in separate envelopes.
