The individual health insurance says it still needs review but I have answered all of the questions and repeated it multiple times but nothing fixes it

To fix this "needs review" error for Form 8962 in TurboTax, you must make sure that your Form 1095-A data is entered under Federal Taxes > Deductions & Credits > Medical > Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A)

If the error persists, try deleting your Form 1095-A and re-entering it. Make sure there are no zeros entered in columns A, B, or C for months without coverage.

To get to those screens in TurboTax to answer Yes to Form 1095-A and to re-enter your Form 1095-A information:

  1. Click on Search at the top right of your TurboTax screen
  2. Type health insurance in the search box and enter
  3. Click on the link that says Jump to health insurance
  4. Your screen will say Do you need to report any 1095-A's, answer Yes.
  5. Complete your follow-up screens.

Then delete the Form 1095-A using the steps listed below.

To delete your Form 1095-A if you are using TurboTax Online:

  1. In your left panel of your TurboTax screen click on "Tax Tools"
  2. And then Click on "Tools"
  3. Click on "Delete a Form"
  4. Scroll through your list of Forms
  5. Click the garbage can next to "Form 1095-A

To delete Form 1095-A if you are using TurboTax Desktop:

  1. Click on "Forms" in the upper right of your TurboTax screen to switch to "Forms Mode"
  2. In your left panel scroll down and look for "Form 1095-A"
  3. In your right panel at the bottom of Form 1095-A click on "Delete Form"
  4. Click on "Yes" to confirm the deletion.
