You can't use the same account.

Each online account can only handle 1 Federal return per tax year.  If you try to prepare a second return in the same account, it will overwrite the first one, making it unrecoverable.

A separate account (separate User ID) is necessary for each Online return, and a separate fee (if applicable).   You can use the same email address in the Account Settings (Profile), if desired for notification purposes, but each User ID must be unique.  A User ID does not have to be an email address.

For future reference, the desktop products (CD/download) can handle multiple returns.

Please see this FAQ on how to start a second Online return:

Above you mentioned "personal and business taxes".   Is your business a self-employed/independent contractor/sole proprietor business or single-member LLC filing Schedule C?   If so, and if your Schedule C has expenses, in an online product you can use the Self-Employed Edition.   But you cannot use the same account as the boyfriend.  See my answer in the Answer section below.

If you business is a partnership, C-Corp, S-Corp, multimember LLC, estate/trust, etc., then an online product cannot handle that.  You would need the dedicated Business Edition which is a desktop-only product for Windows.    You would still need a personal tax product for your personal return.
