Question

How do i claim my girlfriend/baby momma? She did not work last year and i fully supported her? I she considered spouse even though we are not married? or dependant?

No, she is not your spouse unless you are married.

 

You might be able to claim her as a dependent if she meets all of the following requirements:

 

Qualifying relative

  • She lived with you the entire year.
  • She made less than $4,300 in 2020.
  • You provided more than half of her financial support.
  • She isn't claimed as a dependent by someone else.
  • She is a U.S. citizen, resident alien, national, or a Canadian or Mexican resident.

if you weren't married on 12/31/020 she is not your spouse. since she is not related the criteria for qualifying relative would have to be met to claim her as a dependent 

Qualifying Relative
1) most have lived with you for all of 2020
2) gross income for 2020 less than $4,300
3) you provide over ½ his support
4) isn’t a qualifying child of another taxpayer
