How do I add Form 709 to prior year tax return for a gift given above Gift Tax exemption

I gave my daughter $100k in 2024 to purchase a home. Our joint exemption is $36K so I need to report $64k on Form for last year? I can't see how to do this in Turbo Tax under amend a return

A Form 709 gift tax return is a separate return. It is not part of your income tax return. You cannot file a Form 709 gift tax return with TurboTax.

@ak62 agreeing with the response from my colleague @rjs , I would add the following:

(a) you can download the .pdf form 709 from www.irs.gov ( search for form 709 ) and fill it out.

(b) you can also get the form and instructions

form > 2024 Form 709

instructions --> 2024 Instructions for Form 709

The instructions also tell you when and where to file.

Because you are late , just send the form in by itself to the address ref'd.
