Question

How do I access TurboTax Self-Employed edition that I already paid for with a Quickbooks Self-Employed edition bundle?

This has happened several years in a row. I pay a monthly subscription for a QBSE with TurboSE bundle. I follow all the prompts in QBSE and end up in TurboTaxPremium online, with Intuit wanting to charge me for a new product. I already paid for my product! I just want to get to the right one. I don't understand why this is so difficult. It makes me want to find an alternative to QBSE/TurboTax. Steps I tried: 1. I exported data from QBSE to TurboTax and followeed all the prompts, but that brought me into TurboTax Premium, with a cost of $139 plus state. (State return should be included with the bundle I already paid for.) 2. I read in the online help that I should clear my data and start over, but that did no good. I still cannot access the correct edition of TurboTax, and now there is no link in QBSE to follow either. How do I access TurboTax Self-Employed edition online?

There has not been an online product called Self-Employed for several years now.   The online versions are now Deluxe and Premium.   For self-employment income you need to use Premium.
