I can't talk to anyone there. It asks if I want a transcript and I push the button for that then it asks if I filed jointly or separately and I chose separately then it says it can't give me information. I've tried signing into the IRS website but it locked me out again!! I need a copy of my W-2 or something from 2004 that tells where I got $3,000 I did not file because my tax person at the time said I didn't make enough to file. I contacted my former employer and they said they don't have records that go back that far. I've got social security wanting to know where I got that money. I hadn't even filed for disability at the time but they want to know where I got that money back in 2004. If anyone has any information that will help including a way to actually speak to someone at the IRS I would be very grateful. Social Security is going to cut my benefits if I don't come up with the information and I cannot afford for that to happen. Thank you for any help you can give.
