How can I apply for an extension online if I already filed my taxes? I am not filing online, because I am unable to, but I already completed my tax forms here to mail.

I didn't think I needed the extension when I first completed my tax forms on turbo tax so I skipped option for applying for an extension. How to I go back to apply for an extension?

Log in to your TurboTax account, start working on your return (select one of the interview sections) and enter "extension" in the Search Box of TurboTax online. Then. select "jump to extension" from the search results, and follow the instructions.

I can’t get there because I already completed everything and selected file through mail. I tried searching “extension” like you said, but the only thing that comes up is the video tutorial; no “jump to extension”.

Please follow these steps in this TurboTax FAQ and do not complete the last step: How do I change from mail to e-file in TurboTax Online?. You can do this as long as you have not already mailed your tax return.

Once this has been changed from mail to e-file you should have access to file an extension and follow the instructions by @ToddL99 above
