how can one transfer a file from one computer to another. Where do I look for latest file after saved on one computer???

You will need the saved tax data file copied to the other computer.

The 2023 tax data file will have a file extension of .tax2023 and would normally be located in the TurboTax folder within the Documents directory.

Are you using the CD/download software? Are your computers networked? When you use the CD/download, the software and files are stored only on your own hard drive. You cannot access them online.

If you are using online TurboTax, then you have to use exactly the same account and user ID to access your return.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.
