Form 6251 (Alternative Minimum Tax) and 8911(Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling...) TurboTax delay. Can't file taxes

When the IRS has forms available why does it take Intuit Turbotax so long to get approved?

I have to wait now until March 17 before i can file taxes, this is assuming there is no delays.

6251 date kept getting pushed out so these dates are not set in stone and can only be delayed further.

What say you Intuit about this? I don't need some "tax expert" to come here and make excuses so spare your post count canned responses.

The forms need to be formatted into Turbo Tax, which is what can cause the delay.

Thanks for the feedback but that sounds like a Intuit problem.

You would think they would hire more people to help get these forms in Turbotax in a timely manner rather than make customers wait a month before the deadline to file assuming it does not slip again.
