Federal e-filing transmission did not go through

I am filing in state of Florida, i.e., there is no State forms required. Federal e-filing transmission didn't go through.

TT says "Transmission Failed: FAILED VALIDATION. There is an update available to your version of TurboTax... "

I have checked for updates and it says it is up to date.

I have seen countless other people reporting the exact same issue. Intuit you need to fix this issue ASAP.

I had the same issue when I went to e-file. I just bought the software two days ago so thought it would be current enough. I saved the return, closed the app, reopened the app - - - which defaults to "check for updates" - - - so agreed to that. Reopened and was returned to the right spot and successfully e-filed. A glitch that does need to be fixed 😉
