There are no e-file fees for either a federal or state tax return when using the TurboTax online editions.  The TurboTax account fees are for the use of the software to assist in completing a tax return, regardless of the filing status.  The account fees are the same whether a tax return is e-filed or printed for mailing.

Prices are shown for each online edition on this TurboTax website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/

No.  A Joint return is only one return combined for both of you.  You enter all your info and income into the same return.   You only need 1 online account to file Joint.

If you file Married filing Separately then you need 2 separate accounts and pay twice.  You pay per return not people.

Oh and yes you pay for federal and state.   State is a separate fee.   Unless you have a very simple return and use the Free Edition.

And there can be other fees too.  Like if you want to have the fees deducted from your refund there is an Extra $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California).
