Do I pay taxes on gambling winnings in New York but later lost all the gambling winnings? They gave me W2-G and I am from Texas.

You will have to report the gambling winnings on your tax return.  This would be true even if you had gone somewhere the same day and lost the money.  Your gambling losses may be deductible.  For information about deducting gambling losses see the following TurbTax article:
