You bought the Desktop program.  You do not enter into the Online version.

    A license code is Only required if you are using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download software installed on a personal computer.   The TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions have to be purchased each tax year.

    It is NOT required if you are using the TurboTax online web-based editions.

      No, if you are using TurboTax Online, you should use the same User ID and Password each year.
