Do I have to upgrade to deluxe if I have a 1099-MISC form to input?

A 1099-MISC requires form 1040 and cannot be entered using the Free Edition. You must upgrade to at least Deluxe. If you had income in box 7 and had associated expenses, you must upgrade to Self Employed to enter the expenses.
