Do all prior year tax files need to be transferred to my new computer?
Just learned that this year's Download cannot be used on a Windows 8 machine. Do I need to move each prior year tax file (I have many years of Turbotax files) from my Windows 8 machine to my Windows 11 machine, or will last year's file contain all of the relevant history to import for the current year return? Please note that when I refer to "relevant history" I am referring to Charitable Contributions, Gain/Loss Carryforwards, NOLs, etc.
