Deceptive tactic of $40 fee to deduct other fees from fed refund

Unless I'm refunded this fee I paid for both my daughter and myself, I won't use Turbotax again. It was presented in a confusing and deceptive way. There should be a class action suit considering the number of users I'm finding feel the same and took the time to write.

When a company that I've been a customer of for 25 years starts sneaking in ripoff traps, and offers no refund of the fee, I'm done with them.

The payment screen states that it costs $40.  Not sure about online but below is how it looks in desktop.  I think some have confused the placement of the $40 verbiage as referring to both options or the credit card option.  I would agree that the payment screen this year felt like it was pushing Pay With My Refund as the default option more than I remember in the past.  The "Don't worry about pulling out your wallet." is ridiculous too as they are taking $40 for that.  Sad to say you need two pairs of eyes and slow fingers before clicking anything on Turbotax these days.

Anyway no one here is going to action your request to refund anything, you can try calling Turbotax and say Billing as the reason for the call when the bot asks, don't say "refund".
